The HG-if Sakura Taisen series have been well-received by fans of this Sega console RPG game as well as HG collectors. Personally as mentioned, I'm not a big HG fan but the presence of a couple of characters in this set prompted me to grab this set before it's gone. It also shown that Bandai has been improving the quality of their gashapons figurines.

Shinguuji Sakura

Sakura is the main lead of the Hanagumi team. Her father Shinguuji Kazuma was the former member of the Anti-Demon Force during the First Demon Wars. Because of her family bloodline to slay demons, she was recuited into the Hanagumi. Her family was also the Urago Sanke which means the Three Royal Insider Families who need to work and ensure the survival of Imperial Japan.

Though Sakura was a constant feature of all HG-if Sakura Taisen series, this piece I feel is the nicest as you can see her in her traditional Japanese warrior attire and waning her sword in the Northern Star Sword Style. The sculpt is very nice as you can her hair and sleeves done in accordance to her movement. The main problem is that Sakura even with the stand provided could not stand properly, and I need to apply blue tac. 

Lobelia Carlini

A young criminal whose crimes can make her be imprison for 1000 years. She joined Paris Geki Kagekidan for the pure sake of money. Lobelia got a weakness to Erica. So normally she will try and avoid Erica if possible.

This is actually a pretty nice piece, portraying a femme fatale which not to be trifled with. I like her attire, her cool pose and the chain dangling from her collar. Lobelia also came with a pair of spectacles which was supposed to be supported on the bridge of her nose by her right hand. However it might be easy to ignore the inclusion of the mini spectacles. Like Sakura, Lobelia could not stand too stably even with the stand provided. 

Erica Fountaine

Erica is an apprentice nun in a convent. She was involved in a car accident and her parents died. She survive the crash when she accidentally used her special power. She is cheerful, pure-hearted and had a faithful heart. She's always believe god is always there to help people.

I like this lead character from "Sakura Taisen 3: Paris Burning" a lot with a nice sculpt which actually made very stably even when her blouse was sculpted in pieces. The rifle was pretty weird though.

Fujii Kasumi

Kasumi is a member of the Teikoku Kagekidan's Kazegumi division and one-third of the Theater Business Office's infamous San-nin Musume. She take charge of accounting and paperwork for the theater. She is also one of the operators for the Shogeimaru and the Mikasa .She is considered as the oldest of the three members of the Kazegumi.

Kasumi is the reason why I decided to grab this set. As you can see Kasumi's face and hair are sculpted to nicely and alluring. This is complimented with that nice flowing  violet kimono and that pair of white gloves. The black round base is great to hold the slender body of Kasumi.

Takamura Tsubaki

Tsubaki is the youngest member of the San-nin Musume. She works as the shopkeeper of the theater's gift shop. Tsubaki is known for her bright and bubbly personality which help her to sell her gifts well.

A pretty ordinary piece which not much to highlight on. The pieces are very stably mold and with her pose, she is perhaps the most stable piece of this set. 

Sakakibara Yuri

Yuri is the second member of the San-nin Musume (Kazegumi) She assists Kasumi in the day-to-day operations of the Business Office. As the most outspoken member of the group, Yuri just loves to gossip and most of the times got the wrong ideas herself. She's also a close friend of Kohran whom she studied with prior to being assigned to the Teigeiki. She helped the Hanagumi during emergencies and provides tactical support.

Yuri looked quite cute in her stewardess attire. Her cheeky expression sure dazzled all fanboys or otakus, hoping to reap in lots of "sabisu" (service). Once again, the round base helped tremendously to stabilise the free-standing Yuri.
